ORBIT

Microsoft teams was never built as an all in one application, it is a skin over sharepoint, exchange, and skype. meaning every file, message, and “team” are various legacy systems duct-taped together. teams was built around a meeting monoculture, not around work. the default habit in teams became “let’s schedule a meeting,” killing work flow. orbit is a team collaboration platform designed to replace Microsoft Teams, featuring context-based workspaces called orbits, AND VIDEO MEETINGS. within each orbit team members CAN BE ADDED, AND are able to set trackable goals, send team messages as well as direct team member “pulses” for specific actions, UPLOAD FILES, AND CREATE PROJECT BASED DOCUMENTS EACH TEAM MEMBER CAN VIEW AND EDIT. all of this is combined in a single application, with a sleek, easy to read ui, built with rust + tauri for security and speed for true team collaboration.
